Spend Sunday Afternoon in Punta Mita

Punta Mita is a unique land formation at the north end of Banderas Bay, 40 km from the Puerto Vallarta airport. The beaches are legendary for surf breaking over huge rocks and beaches that are pristine and uncrowded. Two Jack Nicklaus golf courses and a great tennis center add to the sports opportunities in Punta Mita. We would like to invite all participants in the World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery to enjoy an afternoon and cocktail party on the beach in Punta Mita, hosted by John and Laura Hunter. Here are the options (including transportation from Congress hotels*):

• Golf and cocktail party: $300
• Tennis and cocktail party: $150
• Beach Club and cocktail party: $125

For golfers, tennis players, beach boys, and babes, transport will leave hotels at 11 am (lunch will be available for purchase at all venues). For Cocktail Party and Sunset watchers only, transport from hotels will leave at 4 pm. Return at 8 pm (approx).

* If you provide your own transportation, deduct $50 from the price (or $25 each way). A cab to Punta Mita can be had for about $60-80 US, and may be needed if your plane is late on Sunday. If there is any money left over, it will be donated to the Punta Mita Foundation, supporting education, athletics, housing, and clothing to those in need living at the north end of Banderas Bay.
