Dear Friends and Colleagues
It is my pleasure and honor, as President of the 13th World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery; to invite you all to join us in this magnificent event. As you know, the World Congress is organized every two years, by one of the International Federation of Societies of Endoscopic Surgery (IFSES) member societies. This time it is the honor of the Latinamerican Association of Endoscopic Surgeons (ALACE) and The Latinamerican Federation of Surgery (FELAC) to host the event.
The Meeting will take place in the beautiful beach town of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico from April 23-27 2012. The venue provides incredible opportunities for teaching, exchange of scientific information as well as a good chance to meet up with old friends and enjoy Mexico´s hospitality.
The Organizing and Scientific Committee is putting together an amazing program that combines experts from all over the globe. More than 200 Faculty already accepted to be part of this exciting program. This time the World Congress will be focused in all areas of minimal access surgery, and reduced port surgery, including but not limited to: Gastrointestinal, Bariatric, Colorectal, Surgical Oncology, Robotics and Single Access Surgery. Other items on the agenda include Live surgery, more than 8 Pre-congress courses, Hands-on labs for Robotics, Single access, Suturing, etc.
Laparoscopic, Bariatric, Robotic and many other surgical Societies from Asia, Europe, Canada, USA, Latin America will be actively participating in the program and sharing their experiences and expertise during the Congress.
This will provide us all with unique opportunities to see and practice the latest advances in each field. Also to hear and participate in heated discussions of the most controversial topics.

On Behalf of the International Federation of Societies of Endoscopic Surgery IFSES. It is my great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 13th World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery, which will take place in the beautiful beach City of Puerto Vallarta, on April 23-27, 2012.
As you all know the World Congress is held every two years and it allows one of the most important scientific exchanges from minimally invasive expert's arround the globe. On this ocassion the metting is organized by the Latin American Society of Endoscopic Surgeons ALACE, Latin American Federation of Surgery FELAC and The Mexican Association of Endoscopic Surgery AMCE.
This event will provide a great opportunity for surgeons to see the most up to date, research and technical advances in the fields of laparoscopy, endoscopy, and emerging technologies such as robotics, SILS and NOTES. The World Congress has been known to gather the best and most renowned experts from every continent combining youth and expertise in it's faculty. We expect this upcoming meeting to be an exciting scientific event, combined with the natural beauty of one of Jalisco's most popular resorts.
The Organizing and Scientific committee is putting all it's efforts to make this meeting a memorable scientific and social experience that will unite us all even more.

It is a distinct honor and pleasure to address you today as the 2011-2012 President of Mexican Association of Endoscopic Surgery. I want to personally extend you and invitation to participate in two events; the XXI International Congress of Endoscopic Surgery and the XIII World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery. Both gatherings will take place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in April 2012.
